New book and online resource collections for Health Information Week 2022

Health Information Week is an annual event promoting high quality, reliable health information, and ways to make it more accessible for everybody.

Some new books and online resources have been made available for Health Information Week this year, titles to support health and wellbeing, and you can read more about how to access these below.

Your Health Collection 2022 books
This new book collection aims to help users to learn how to better manage their health, and subject matter includes books on:

• How to use nature to enhance wellbeing
• Men’s health
• Perimenopause and the menopause
• Managing chronic pain
• Understanding emotional wellbeing
• Ageing well
• Trans mental health and wellbeing

Books were selected by Health Education England in partnership with the Reading Agency. You can view all titles and borrow them from the BSMHFT Knowledge Information and Library Service, including as postal loans direct to your work base.

 

Online resources
There are also 30 digital resources which you can access online covering a wide range of health and wellbeing topics.

 

Joining the library
It’s quick and easy to join the library online and gain access to a wide range of books and DVDs which can be sent out to your work base as postal loans for convenience. You can search the library catalogue to see the items we have available to borrow.
