Do you need some evidence to support a research project, service improvement, patient care query or teaching session?
A literature search service is available to all staff – if you complete the online form, we will get the results back to you as soon as required – request a literature search
Alternatively, if you are undertaking a course of study, the library team offers an assisted literature search service – in groups or on a one-to-one basis – whereby a librarian will sit with you and explain how to search for the evidence See more via the Library Tutorials page
The team also run a clinical librarian programme whereby a member of the library team attends a regular clinical or multidisciplinary team meeting slot over a set time period and, following case discussions, helps the team to formulate a clinical question to support the care of clients in the service and then follows this up with a brief summary of the research evidence. The summaries are available to view on the *trust intranet (*only accessible when on-site)
If you would like to express an interest for us to attend your team meetings or to just find out more, please contact Karen Wight, outreach & e-resource librarian (email@example.com)
